mycareer.tokyo ("we") handles the personal information of applicants and job seekers in line with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and related laws, as follows.

1. What we collect

Information you give us through the application form: name, email, phone, LinkedIn or other URLs, résumé / CV, and anything you write to us.

2. How we use it

• To introduce roles, run selection processes and provide career consultations
• To contact you
• For statistical analysis that does not identify you, to improve our service

3. Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent unless required by law. We only put you forward to a hiring company after you agree.

4. Service providers

Our website and forms run on Wix.com, which processes information on our behalf for that purpose.

5. Site analytics (Google Analytics)

To understand how the site is used and improve it, we use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC (USA). It sends Google the pages you view, the referring site, your device and browser type, your approximate region, a cookie identifier, and what you do on the site (jobs viewed, search keywords and filters, and that a form was submitted). It never sends what you type into our forms, such as your name, contact details or résumé. We do not use it for advertising. Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland get no analytics cookies.

6. Access, correction and deletion

Contact us to access, correct, stop the use of or delete your information; we will respond as the law requires.
